Registration Open! Queer BIPOC Speed Dating

I’m still feeling so happy and connected from Daytime Dancetime on Saturday! Everyone was so hot and nice and it was just really frickin fun, good stuff. A huge thank you goes out to all the volunteers who helped make the event happen. It was a true team effort and together we raised $1500 for the Franklin County People’s Fund! In addition to being incredible hosts, Ashley & Julia from Monster Girl Nerd Club took SO MANY beautiful group shots and portraits and have made them available on their website for viewing/download. I smiled real big scrolling through these pictures and I hope you do too. This is the first time I’ve had high quality photos of a Queer Yenta event and wow what a gift.

Without further ado, up next on the Queer Yenta calendar is BIPOC Speed Dating! I’m thrilled to be collaborating with friends Lucia & Simbrit who will be guest facilitating at this 21+ event on Sunday, August 30th at Fame in Holyoke. Registration is open now! Space is limited and we will not be taking walk-ins for speed dating, so make sure to sign up in advance if you would like to participate. Feel free to forward this to a friend who might be interested! :)

• Wheelchair-accessible venue

• Please refrain from wearing cologne, perfume or other heavily scented products.

• This is a mask-optional, mostly-indoor event where masking is welcome. Free high quality masks will be available at the door.

• We will do our best to facilitate volume resets but please note that speed dating gets very loud with lots of people talking at once.

• Everyone will have a seat for the majority of speed dating. Half of the group will remain seated in one spot during speed dating and the other half will rotate.

• Gender-neutral, single-stall bathrooms

• Alcohol & NA drinks available for purchase from the venue.

• Smoking & vaping outside only.
