Queer Yenta Episode Release: DJ Selkie

Do you know about DJ Selkie yet?!! Ok, first off, great name - apparently selkies are a kind of shapeshifting seal-person-creature from Celtic/Nordic mythology. Very fun, very chic. Well, the aforementioned Selkie was a genuine delight to have in the Queer Yenta studio. They are a curious, kind-hearted, creative and engaged college student looking for cute dates with other 18-22 year old queers.

Even though WMUA is based at a university, I don’t often get applications from local college students who want to be featured on Queer Yenta. Major props and respect to DJ Selkie for finding Queer Yenta on the internet (wow sometimes the internet is actually really good) and for boldly putting themself out there and being open to new queer connections. As they said on the show, they’re in their “world-building era” — maybe you’d like to enter their orbit?
